Lucy Ann Moll – Sycamore and Winfield, IL
For as long as she can remember, Lucy has had a heart for the hurting. She believes God gave her a heart for the hurting because she experienced hurt in her childhood and He comforted her so that she might comfort others with the comfort she received from Him. Lucy has a special place in her heart for women who suffer depression and anxiety, or have experienced any type of sexual sin, including sexual abuse, same-sex attraction, adultery, and pornography.
God revealed to her the effectiveness and compassion of biblical counseling soon after she finished her graduate program in Pastoral Care to Women. She is making plans for a doctorate in Biblical Counseling.
She and her husband, Steve, have been married over 30 years and have three children and a cat named Polly who “owns” them.
Highlights of her Christian testimony:
“The Lord called me to himself when I was 23 years old, out of work, and feeling like a failure. Though I had grown up in a Catholic family, God introduced me to Jesus through a slim volume titled “Basic Christianity” by John Stott. I trusted Jesus to save me and take away my sins.”
