Lucy Writes. . . a Word of Hope

   God met me at the library. Twenty-three years old, jobless and newly married, I scanned the shelves for redecorating books. He led me to Basic Christianity by John Stott. I carried it home, devoured it in three hours, and prayed to receive Jesus as my Savior.

  He used my new love of the Word and of words. I landed a magazine editorship that later opened a door to an at-home  editing/writing business, including writing books. In the 1990s I authored three healthy lifestyle books, selling nearly 200,000 copies.

   Then God silenced me. Nine long years. Two healings; my son, me. A miraculous physical healing for him. A deep (and equally miraculous) emotional healing for me.

   Now I write books for Christian women who hurt. I get it.

    My latest book is Beautiful Warrior, You Are Who God Says You Are . . .Even When Life Gets Ugly, which is looking for a publisher.
