No Words

It seems everyone has something to say about the Connecticut grade school massacre. I have no words. Only a silencing grief.

Since the Sandy Hook school shooting on Friday, I’ve been glued to CNN–and I don’t even like CNN. The reporters have interviewed and recapped, and recapped and interviewed. Still I listen and watch and pray and grieve.

And grieve.

Facebook and Twitter are fat with updates and tweets. A cacophony of souls crying for answers to explain the senseless killings of 20 little ones and eight adults, including the gunman.

No words.

Save this Word: JESUS.

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:9-12)
